JAGUAR-CLUB-SCALA HERFORD 1967 - THE SEARCHERS:

you will hear the searchers sing "sweets for my sweet", but you´ll see THE HI-FI´S !!!

Who created this and why it was done is not known. It would be great to have the complete video of The Hi-Fi’s without The Searchers.

It’s ironic that The searchers record was released at the same time as The Hi-Fi’s first record  “Take Me Or Leave Me”/ “I’m Struck” May 1963.

Mick Douglas tells us;

“That’s Tony Coates singing lead, but it's the Searchers music not us”.

“Shame for me is I'm the only one of the five Hi-Fi’s you don't see, lucky for some!”.

Mick.
